— Pediatric Anesthesia
Full-time locum coverage at a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Hospital and Level IV Neonatal ICU, in one of the top-ranked places to live in the U.S. No call, no weekends, no nights.
The Role
- ✓Team of 15 CRNAs, 15 physicians, 2 sedation NPs, and 3 preop NPs
- ✓Covers the main hospital only (affiliated with surgery centers) — 18 ORs, EPIC EMR
- ✓Cases: neuro, urology, ENT, dental, general, ortho, plastics, spine, NICU/PICU, and other high-acuity pediatric patients — NICU to young adult population
- ✓No hearts or liver transplants performed by locum CRNAs
- ✓No call, weekends, or nights
- ✓1–2 day orientation — staff is open to guiding CRNAs eager to build their pediatric expertise
Credentialing
- ✓KY license required — 90 days for active licensure, 90–120 days if pending
- ✓Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program
- ✓ACLS / BLS / PALS required, NRP preferred but not mandatory
- ✓NBCRNA with no pending malpractice issues
- ✓Comfortable with complex, high-acuity pediatric cases and working as a team player in a supervised setting
